Welcome to Loxley, Alabama
Loxley may be Baldwin County’s newest official city, but our roots are as deep as her beautiful white-sand beaches. As the most central community in Baldwin County, Loxley has long been an ideal place to live, work, and play. What started as a sleepy town on Alabama Highway 59 has grown into a vibrant city full of families, businesses, and opportunities for both. From our rolling fields and quiet streets to our growing downtown, we remain connected through our rich history and promising future (and of course, the famous Annual Strawberry Festival). And although we’ve seen rapid growth in recent years, our residents and visitors still enjoy that small-town southern charm that has always been the heart of our community.
Once known as the “Biggest Little Town in Baldwin County,” Loxley gained official city status in 2022. Although this milestone reflects that our community is on the grow, we remain committed to keeping our small-town heritage as we brave a new horizon. We hope you’ll join us.
